The former Governor's House of Padise manor supports and complements the visit to the monastery. The Northwest Estonian Tourist Information and Service Center with a monastery shop is on the ground floor of the building. Here you can buy tickets to the monastery and souvenirs. You can also ask for directions what to see and do in the area. There are workshops in the other wing of the building, where different artists and craftsmen work daily, whose works and activities can be found on the workshops page. Various workshops are also held there.
There is a 50-seat seminar room on the second floor of the Governor's House with a large window overlooking the monastery. Adjacent to the Chamber, there is the library of the monastery, where old books and approaches about Cistercian activity and meaning are gathered. The library is a great place for reflection and discussion.
