Visitor Center

Padise monastery and its Visitor Center which is located in the former administration building of Padise manor (also known as the Governor’s House). First floor of the building includes Tourist Information Center for Northwest Estonia and a gift shop. Here you can buy tickets to the monastery tours and enjoy a selection of souvenirs. Our staff can also advise you on the places to visit and things to do in the surrounding area.

The first floor also includes rooms for hands-on workshops and educational programs both for groups and individual visitors.

Second floor of the Visitor Center has a 50-seat (seminary) room with a beautiful view of the monastery and a permanent exhibition of objects found in the archaeological excavations. This room is equipped with modern technology and can be used for corporate events.

Next to the seminary room is a small library, which has an ever-expanding selection of nearly 500 books that shed light to the monastic life. The library is a great place for reflection and study.
